"You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have." - Dr. Maya Angelou
Y'all.....when I say 2023 humbled me! I was literally on the floor looking up saying, "Bruh, enough!" Ha. In all seriousness, after a year of stretching and pruning, I'm thankful for perspective and clarity. I smile at the future happiness that is to come. I am content in all things because at some point you should just start enjoying the journey. And, that journey has brought me back here to this blog.
So, this is yet another blog?
Hmm, I guess. In simplest forms, it's a space for me to dissect my mental overanalysis and share my thoughts in case others find it useful. Is there a theme? Nope just writing. One of the hangups many have is the idea that it has to have a well-thought-out plan, target audience, and marketing strategy (I'm one of those many). However, I am embracing writing just for writing's sake. If it leads somewhere other than a clearer head, I'm already thankful.

(Be content and enjoy the journey)
Well, what can we expect to see here?
Per my last statement...lol, but forreal, I don't have any clue! That's the idea though, to see where this journey leads me. There is no calendar of posts with topics and outcomes. Just me and life and I think that is more than enough. Which - for those who know me and my superpower of planning and executing, yep I just typed that! And yep, I'm quietly freaking out, ha! This year I'm running toward fear (not danger, that's wholely different) because I have previously seen it produce beauty for me. What is desired manifests with what we are disciplined enough to undertake.
Do you realize this blog is attached to your consulting business website? That's odd.
Perhaps for some, but I disavowed the myth long ago as it pertains to "separating work and personal." No, I don't go around sharing my innermost feelings at the workplace; however, I am keenly aware that I as a leader bring all those feelings to work with me each day. This blog is attached to my business website because I want leaders and companies to see their humanity reflected in their partnership with Norwood Hart Consulting. My business and team know the weighty privilege of running high-performing organizations, and this space is crafted for me, the leader to share a more personal side of that privilege. For, it is our vulnerability and measured decision-making that propels our organizations forward.
So, here's to walking the path and embracing the experience. I hope you'll come back each time and tag along with me throughout the year.
Sincerely,
Just a Girl From Norwood
